This morning was a two cups of coffee kind of morning. Not so much for the caffeine (although that was nice too), but more for the nostalgia. First, while reading my Bible early this morning, I made a cup of Huckleberry coffee and drank it in my new mug. I bought the mug from a potter who lives down the road from our new house and the coffee was a gift from Mrs. S. Although we are in California, and the temperature should be up to 85 by this afternoon, it is cool and crisp this morning so my coffee tasted like home! :) After a couple hours of homeschooling, I sent the boys out to play so I could get some work done. That led to my second cup of coffee. This one is a Thai coffee (coffee with a little sweetened condensed milk, instead of cream and sugar). I learned about this tasty treat while visiting a new coffee shop on my little vacation last week. I spent the week with a precious friend, resting and being blessed by sweet fellowship with her and her family. The past month has been a whirlwind of changes - wonderful, amazing, fantastic changes! :) God is so good! After two years of prayer, God has blessed us exceedingly and abundantly with a beautiful home and new precious friends! (read more about that here: Big Prayers, Big Answers) We spent some time with friends and family. I snuggled my nieces and nephew, got to see my oldest niece off for her first day of school, and did a worship concert at our home church.
Now we are back on the road. For the first time in two years, I feel ready! I feel completely refreshed and ready for life in a trailer. :) We started this school year fresh with new curriculum that the boys and I are excited about! We have a ministry schedule that is full, but not too busy! Our holiday concert schedule promises to be exciting and only slightly exhausting ;) We are ready to shine Jesus' love in the Central Valley! "Here I am, Lord, send me!"

God is Unchanging!
He is still on the throne! (see Psalm 102) Lord, you are my portion and my cup of blessing; you hold my future. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. I will bless the Lord who counsels me-- even at night when my thoughts trouble me. I always let the Lord guide me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:5-8) Reading...
