Before I tell you about this past weekend, I wanted to let you know about the online sale we have going on. Right now we are paying sales tax and shipping for all of our CD orders! If you need a last minute stocking stuffer this is a great way to support our ministry and check something off of your shopping list! :) Click the picture below to find out more! We spent this past weekend in the Vancouver/Portland area. We had Christmas services Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, and Sunday night. Friday evening we had the blessing of being a part of a beautiful Christmas dinner. We led some Christmas carols, Josh played his fingerstyle arrangements of several Christmas favorites and shared a message reflecting on the significance of the way Jesus came to earth. Saturday we relaxed in our hotel room and I did a little bit of Christmas shopping. Then that evening we headed to Gresham for our Christmas concert. It was a blessing to return to this church where we led a Sunday morning service this past spring. Sunday was full and lots of fun! We led the morning service at a church that we ministered at almost two years ago. It was great to reconnect with them and we are praying about joining them on a mission trip in Montana this summer! After our Sunday morning service, we spent the afternoon visiting with some dear friends that we haven't seen for six months. The boys had a blast playing with their kiddos and Josh and I loved catching up with these sweet friends! Then we headed out to our Sunday evening Christmas service. This was an intimate evening of worship and God's Word. I got up early this morning to sneak away for a couple more precious hours with my friend over breakfast. Then we packed up and drove through the pouring rain back to Seattle!
We will try to have a "normal" day tomorrow and Wednesday of homeschooling, booking, and practice and then Wednesday afternoon we'll take a ferry back across the water for a Christmas concert in Poulbo, WA. Yay for Christmas! :)

God is Unchanging!
He is still on the throne! (see Psalm 102) Lord, you are my portion and my cup of blessing; you hold my future. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. I will bless the Lord who counsels me-- even at night when my thoughts trouble me. I always let the Lord guide me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:5-8) Reading...
