Here is the second installment of posts flashing back to the first few months of our ministry.  You can read the first post of this series HERE!
Ug Technology
June 2, 2013
Four concerts down and we're not any worse for the wear!  Things are going very good.  Our first four concerts went well.  We had small crowds, but the responses were very encouraging.  All four places want to have us back - one of them already booked us again for September! :)  We're having fun, but it definitely is an interested way to live.  If you are on facebook, you saw that our van was packed as full as it could possibly be (I'm still trying to figure out how to add pictures to this blog, hence the "Ug Technology" part of the title).  Well, we have spent the last two nights in the smallest hotel room I have ever seen!  Truly, I think our stuff fits better in the van than it does in here!  It's been interesting washing dishes in the bathroom sink and preparing dinner on the beds.  This morning I was sitting on the toilet (let me clarify - I was sitting on the toilet lid) peeling apples into the bathroom trashcan (yes, it's okay to be disgusted, I was too.  Although I was very careful to keep contamination to a minimum and drew the line when one of the boys wanted to come relieve himself when I was rinsing the apples in the bathroom sink! Yuk!)...okay, where was I?  Ah yes, I was sitting on the toilet peeling apples and Josh commented that perhaps even the Proverbs 31 woman would be impressed with me! :)  Ha, ha!  It's really not that big of a deal, but I couldn't help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation....Hmmmmmm, so I was just typing about my toilet apple peeling and this picture appeared below!  It seems I may have discovered how to add pictures to the blog...............
Nope. Nevermind.  No clue.  Oh brother, I just spent so long trying to figure out what I did that I totally forgot what I was going to write about and now I'm tired and want to go to bed....Sorry, to waste your time, but at least you know now, that traveling hasn't changed me yet.  I'm still an air head!  Goodnight from my teeny, tiny room in Wenatchee!

    Dwelling...
    God is Unchanging!
    He is still
    on the throne!

    (see Psalm 102)

    Lord, you are
    my portion

    and my cup
    of blessing;

    you hold my future.
    The boundary lines have fallen for me
    in pleasant places;
    indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.
    I will bless the Lord who counsels me--
    even at night when my thoughts trouble me.
    I always let the Lord guide me.
    Because he is at my right hand,
    I will not be shaken.

    (Psalm 16:5-8)
