Praise Slowly but surely we are beginning to make friends and feel more and more at home in our new community.
T-1 is having great success in areas of schooling that have been difficult for him in the past! We serve a loving and compassionate God, who sees and knows us completely! I have been overwhelmed lately with the beauty of this reality!
The boys and I are finding great refreshment in less travel and are so grateful for some greater stability in our lives.
God has faithfully protected Josh in his travel both flying and driving by himself!
Prayer Requests 3/2/18 We continue to seek God's wisdom for the direction of this ministry and for financial provision. We know God is faithful and has a plan, but lately we feel a bit confused and discouraged. Please pray for encouragement as we wait for His clear direction. 3/2/18 Josh is working diligently on recording a few new worship videos for booking purposes. Please pray for God's blessings on his efforts and for God to use them to accurately communicate the heart, passion, and gifting behind One Hope One Truth.
3/2/18 Despite the tremendous amount of illnesses out there, we have managed to avoid most of the virus circulating. However, T-1 woke up with a bug a few days ago that seems to be getting worse over the past few days instead of better. Please pray for healing for him and protection for the rest of the family (especially Josh)! 2/17/18 As a result of some serious financial setbacks, we are once again having to rethink the way we do ministry. Josh will be unable to cut back the number of events he does as much as we hoped (see below 1/31/18). Please pray that God would allow him to find many ministry opportunities closer to home so that his time traveling away from home can be less than last year, while still allowing opportunities to share the love of Christ through music and testimony!
2/7/18 We have encountered some significant financial set backs in the past couple of weeks. Please pray for God to provide a way to make up the difference between what we need and what we have.
1/31/18 We are taking another step of faith in our ministry by greatly cutting back the number of ministry event weekends that Josh does. We believe this is God's will for our family and ministry for this upcoming year. There are several benefits that we expect will come from this lighter schedule, but there will also be challenges. Fewer booked weekends will allow Josh to invest more time in a new recording project, his book, as well as possibly developing other ministry "products". It will also allow him to spend more time studying, practicing, and preparing for each event so that he can give his very best and serve with excellence at every event. Another benefit will be the increased time together as a family and the ability to attend and serve in our local church together. - The challenges this change present are pretty straight forward, First, fewer church services means fewer opportunities to gain financial support (i.e. pay our bills and expenses), Second, having fewer weekends available makes booking more complicated and requires more planning as well as it requires that pastors are more flexible and willing to work with our limited openings. So... Please pray that God will give Josh wisdom about when and where to book ministry events/church service. Pray that God will open and shut doors as He sees fit. Pray that pastors will be understanding and flexible with our scheduling. Pray that God will continue to (as He ALWAYS does) provide for our financial needs.
1/31/18 Please pray that God will provide godly friends and adults influences for our boys.
1/31/18 Please pray for strength for my wrists (I have chronic wrist and hand problems) as I am working toward learning to play keyboard for worship.
